The Greater Douglas of Commerce is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit, volunteer membership organization. Our mission is to provide resources for businesses to succeed in and around Douglas. Services include business promotion, referrals, networking activities, sponsorship of events to promote commerce, member-to-member services, small business information, workshops and seminars, and representation on legislative matters that impact the business community.

We are an independent, all-volunteer organization of business owners and business representatives in the Greater Douglas Area. We rely on memberships and fundraisers for our operations. We do not receive any funds from the City of Douglas or any other government entity.  However, the city is an important partner and serves as a non-voting member on our Board of Directors.
