Since its foundation in 1882, the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce has been the most effective and influential organization in the business climate of Turkey and represents, currently, almost 320,000 companies from all corners of the business spectrum. The Istanbul Chamber of Commerce is also cooperating with other chambers and international bodies such as UNIDO, ITC, ASCAME, etc. ICOC provides expert assistance to its members regarding legal and financial legislations, foreign trade and customs regulations, trade and investment incentives and such newly introduced topics as consumer protection or e-commerce. The Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ICOC) prints and circulates publications both in Turkish and other languages for information purposes. Thus, ICOC has always been a pioneer in the development of the fair organization business in Turkey.
