We are working to contribute to economic activities.

Cambodia held a general election after the peace process and entered a growth period in the 2000s after a recovery period after 1993 when the Constitution was enacted. The main industries are garment, agriculture, tourism and real estate construction, and foreign direct investment is now by far the best in China.

Since 2010, the number of Japanese companies has increased, and the expanding manufacturing industry has contributed to Cambodia’s economic growth by increasing exports, while real estate, Entry into domestic demand, such as in the consumption and service sectors, has also increased, and the number of members has continued to grow.

In accordance with the growth of this association, the Ministry of Commerce was registered as the Chamber of Commerce in 2011, and from 2012, the membership organization was shifted to a sectional system for each industry. In addition, since 2015, we have introduced a committee system to address individual issues, and have been smoothing and evolving our organizational activities.
