The Purpose of the AssociationThe purpose of our association is to cultivate and improve upon a strong restaurant industry, as well as to improve the diet of the Japanese people for the growth and advancement of the culture of Japanese Cuisine.
We aim to do so by valuing the history and traditions of Japanese Cuisine, contributing to its succession and continuity, passing on its core values (such as table etiquette, manners and authentic flavors etc.) and further developing these values by improving our facilities and cultivating human resources.
Additionally, it is our mission to contribute to the promotion of tourism in Japan by aiding tourists, both domestic and foreign, in fully experiencing the wonders of the culture of Japanese cuisine.

Business Description

  1. Collect information concerning the improvement of the software and hardware of restaurants, as well as providing information gathered from investigation and research.
  2. Collect information concerning the provision of safe and secure food and providing it to members as well as to general consumers.
  3. Collect and provide information with regards to matters such as fire prevention, disaster prevention, and sanitation.
  4. Collect and provide information with regards to the provision of safe and good quality food sourced domestically as well as food procured internationally.
  5. Engage in the negotiation with government agencies, administrative agencies and any other concerned institutions related to promoting the sound development of the restaurant industry,
  6. Foster the education of traditional Japanese food culture, educating children taking on the responsibility of the proper continuation of it in the future.
  7. Engage in the guidance of providing knowledge and the know-how of dietary education and any related matters.
  8. Collect and provide information with regards to the cultivation of human resources.
  9. Engage in the transfer of information and the cooperation, collaboration and coordination with the various international tourism agencies.
  10. Engage in the study and investigation of food, as well as the improvement of cooking technology and any related matters concerning the developement of it.
  11. To fulfill any other required objectives that are set forth by the society.
