The Arab Malaysian Chamber of Commerce Berhad (AMCC) is a non-profit organization under the Company Act 1965 of Malaysia (registration number 874020 – U), with registered office suite 1-17-1, Menara Bangkok Bank@Berjaya Central Park, No. 105 Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia, incorporated in October 2009 and launched on 3rd March 2011 by Tan Sri Dr. Zeti Akhtar Aziz, Governor of Bank Negara.
The AMCC is in cooperation with all the 17 Arab embassies of the Arab League with a diplomatic representation in Malaysia. It comprises of 200 members up to date and has recently been appointed by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) as an Issuer of Non Preferential Certificates of Origin (NPCOs).
The AMCC aims to develop and foster trade, investment, services and education between the Arab Countries and Malaysia, while also offering a forum for the exchange of business views and experiences. The AMCC strives to be a direct liaison with the Arab and Malaysian Chambers of Commerce, expressing views of the local Arab and Malaysian business community to public and private agencies in Malaysia and abroad.
The AMCC`s end goal is to provide a platform in which Business Executives may identify, discuss and pursue common interest on their activities, and to be a source of credible and updated information on the economies and business opportunities of Malaysia and the Arab Countries.
