ABOUT THE HISWANA MIGAS

The Association of National Oil and Gas Entrepreneurs, The Birth of the National Oil and Gas Entrepreneur Association (Hiswana Migas) cannot be separated from the ups and downs and dynamics of the oil and gas world in the country. The history of his birth began when Law No. 8/1971 and Keppres No. 44/1975 came out about Pertamina, where Pertamina’s responsibilities, especially PPDN, became increasingly heavy. In this connection, fuel agents and transporters must also understand their significant role because they have the trust of the Government (in this case Pertamina) to participate in distributing fuel as a vital need for the community. For this reason, it is necessary to form a forum for Pertamina PPD agents / partners who are not only oriented towards business interests but an organization that also has social responsibility. Thus, Hiswana Migas was formed, on September 3, 1979, as an element of the implementation of Pertamina’s obligations in particular the distribution of fuel / non-fuel in the country.
