The Association was established in 1966. The organization of the Association is based on the premise of integrating Chinese businessmen and Chinese groups into one family.

The affairs of the Association are as follows:

(1) Encourage the development of industry and commerce to seek common economic prosperity.
(2) Handle commercial consultation and communication and identification and certification matters.
(3) Report business news and hold commodity exhibitions.
(4) Introduce the foreign liaison business of import and export trade.
(5) Investigate statistics and articles on industry and commerce data Provide opinions to assist in supporting industry and commerce.
(6) To mediate disputes among members and to promote public welfare.
(7) Sponsor education and charity for public welfare undertakings and exert patriotism.
(8) Participate in other chambers of commerce as members.
(9) Set up an activity organization that is beneficial to the body and mind of the members.
(10) Host business delegations at home and abroad.
