Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Japan is the official body subordinated directly to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. It is an integral part of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Japan.
   The main purpose of the Trade Representation is to promote trade and economic cooperation between Russian Federation and Japan.
   The head of the Trade Representation is the Trade Representative, whose candidacy is appointed by the Prime Minister of Russian Federation by the presentation of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation in conciliation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
   Trade Representation operates under the Russian Federal regulations according to executive orders of the President of the Russian Federation, decisions of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and in compliance with the Japanese and international Law.
