Created on September 18, 1974, by Tunisian and French businessmen, the Tunisian-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CTFCI), an association governed by Tunisian law, has been serving Tunisian-French relations for more than 40 years.

Bringing together more than 1,500 Tunisian and French members (natural and legal persons), the main purpose of the CTFCI is to promote and sustainably develop commercial, industrial and service relations between Tunisian and French partners.

To do this, the CTFCI has set up an Assembly, a Management Committee, an Executive Office headed by a President and a team of 15 permanent staff.

The Tunisian-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CTFCI) is one of the oldest mixed chambers in Tunisia. Created on September 18, 1974, by Tunisian and French businessmen, the CTFCI, a non-profit Tunisian association, has been at the service of Tunisian-French relations for more than 40 years.

ROLE AND MISSIONS

Bringing together more than 1,500 Tunisian and French members, the CTFCI is aimed at all Tunisian and French or mixed companies, in particular SMEs/SMIs wishing to export, import, diversify their markets, seek partners or representatives, invest and set up in Tunisia and France. It is also the interlocutor of economic operators looking for information, assistance or advice in Tunisia or France.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

  • Reception and assistance of French companies wishing to explore the market or set up in Tunisia
  • Organization of missions of Tunisian companies in France (increasingly in Sub-Saharan Africa / Middle East)
  • Organization of visitors to Tunisian companies at French trade fairs 
  • Animation of the community of members (seminars, thematic breakfasts, sectoral workshops, etc.)
  • Assistance of French companies established in Tunisia (difficulties encountered with the administration)
  • Animation of sectoral commissions (health / Digital / transport and logistics / Taxation / Industry and trade / banking and insurance)
  • Lobbying actions and strength of proposals with the authorities
  • Assistance in obtaining the Schengen visa from the French consulate

RELATIONS WITH THE INSTITUTIONAL ENVIRONMENT

In France, the CTFCI has been a member of the CCI France International since 1991, and an active partner of all the French CCIs.

In Tunisia, the CTFCI is one of the founding members of the council of mixed chambers and maintains privileged relations with all the ministerial departments as well as the promotion bodies (APII, APIA, FIPA, CEPEX, etc.)
