The Vietnam Association for Information Processing (VAIP) was established under Decision No. 312 / QD / HDBT of December 17, 1988 of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers (now the Prime Minister). VAIP is a non-governmental socio-professional organization, member of Vietnam Union of Science & Technology Associations, member of National Steering Committee on IT, member of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce & Industry and a official member of the world Union IT ( International Federation for Information Processing – IFIP ).
