Rooted in earlier projects by WWF Vietnam focused on bycatch best practices, the Vietnam yellowfin tuna FIP process began in 2013 with the completion of a Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) pre-assessment. AnFIP Action Plan was completed in early 2014, which describes the necessary FIP activities, with associated responsible parties and timeframes, required to meet the MSC standard.
