Libya’s Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohammed Al-Hwaij, met on Monday with the chairman and members of the Zliten Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture to discuss the Chamber’s vision for improving its internal operations and supporting private sector growth.
During the meeting, Al-Hwaij underscored the key role of chambers of commerce in driving economic development, according to the Ministry’s Facebook page.
He emphasized the need for stronger engagement with local and international companies and investors to stimulate investment across multiple sectors, in coordination with the Ministry and its affiliates.
The Minister instructed relevant departments to enhance communication with chambers of commerce and support their efforts in empowering the private sector, boosting local industry, and creating a business-friendly environment aligned with the Ministry’s broader development strategy.
